Pug Dog Breeders.

What you look for in a pug breeder.

There are many pug dog breeders out there and if you are thinking about buying a pug puppy you will want to make sure that you go to a reputable breeder.

It is always a good idea to visit your breeder in person and even take a look around there kennels so that you can see for yourself the conditions that your pug puppy has been raised in.

There are many bodies such as the kennel club and the America kennel club, ask if your breeder is a member and if the parents have a pedigree.

What you should expect to receive from a pug dog breeder.

Apart from the pug puppy you should also receive a list of vaccinations that the dog has already had and a schedule for any remaining vaccinations.

You will want to know what sort of food has been served so that you can keep a continuity to the diet. And a certificate of health from there vet would be very good also.

A happy home.

The breeder will also be interested in where the puppy is going to and if you have any experience of looking after pugs.

Visiting the breeder gives you and the breeder an excellent opportunity to discuss every aspect of the care of your pug. And if you know that your pug is from good parents and caring breeder you will have peace of mind too.

There are probably many questions that you will have for the breeder and it’s possible a good idea to write these down before your visit so that you don’t miss anything out.

After you have bought your pug, keep the breeders number handy and if you have any concerns it is always reassuring to have someone to call and get advice.
